Actually it's a Purple Poppy Mallow but it's also know as the "Buffalo Rose", "Cowboy Rose" and "Wine Cups". They just popped up over night in our yard. According to the internet they make a great ground cover and can be easily grown because they can take poor soil. That pretty much describes our soil since it's that nasty red dirt!
