Big Spring, with its clear blue water flowing into the Current River past the trees shedding their Autumn leaves. Big Spring in Missouri is located on the Current River. It is a massive, first-magnitude spring that flows from the base of a bluff into the Current River valley in the Missouri Ozarks.

Big Spring was one of Missouri's first state parks but was donated by the people of Missouri to the National Park Service and to become a part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It has an average daily flow of 286 million gallons of water. Big Spring is an awesome beautiful site and a geologic wonder.
