Gibbes Circle

What was once a former rice plantation in Charleston, S.C. sits the Magnolia Cemetery. It was first opened in 1850 and it is one of the most beautiful examples of a Victorian cemetery I have ever seen. The cemetery has a lot of beautiful landscaped paths and ponds and beautiful big trees with Spanish moss spilling from their branches. This area of the cemetery is called Gibbs Circle which is named from the mausoleum of James Shoolbred Gibbes that is in the middle of the image.
