Big Spring - Ozark National Scenic Riverways

Sunlight filters through the branches of trees at the edge of a vibrant blue waters of Big Spring. The scene captures the serene beauty of nature with moss-covered rocks in the foreground and the rapid flow of water creating a peaceful atmosphere. Big Spring was one of Missouri's first state parks but was donated by the people of Missouri to the National Park Service and to become a part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It has an average daily flow of 286 million gallons of water. Big Spring is an awesome beautiful site and a geologic wonder.
